Default Does this look used to you?

Does that look used to you guys? He advertises "Brand new and unused", but it looks kinda dirty....

I'm expecting to buy a used system since it's no longer made and all, but I really have no way of knowing if it's just a pile of junk. Plus, this seller JUST joined Ebay and has a ton of automotive parts that he's selling, so I guess I'm kinda leery.

Looks like it's been sitting somewhere for a long time. As long as it's not dented up or anything, you should be good to go, even if it does have some miles on it. Since that sticker is still intact, it probably hasn't been heated up much, unless he just put it on there.

Everyone sells something for their first time at one point.

Good point. I just want a quality exhaust and not something that's going to **** out on me. I'm pretty sure SLP still sells the actual muffler, but it's like $230 or something.

Here just for the people that don't want to click the link.

As for it being used I would say no look inside the inlet pipe on the muffler it is clean. It does look like it has been sitting around for awhile though. Other than that it looks like it could be a good deal. Good luck with it.

Yep...sitting somewhere for a while. It looks like there's still an oil film on it...

Thanks for all your help guys! I think I might just pick this up, polish the hell out of it, then look for a place that sells an over axle pipe with the correct hanger and center inlet positioning. So far I haven't found a place that makes the right over-axle pipe for it. Plus finding some way to mount it up to the car with a fabricated hanger.

No clamp marks on the inlet, looks oily, yeah just sat in the corner of a garage for a while probably. Wonder what the inside might be like though? Rusty?

Well I think I might just buy it and then try to use the intermediate pipe from my Dual/Dual system. I'll find a way to get some hangers and an over-axle pipe too.

Might take this muffler and tips to a local guy and have him polish it up to a mirror shine! Then come the LTs and ORY for it
