Yep, what CAT3 said. Call Barry at Quicktime Performance and talk to him - he is really cool and will answer all of your questions without an annoying sales pitch.

I bought an electric cutout from him...it should be here monday!

Default cut out question....help!

Ok..I have the stock Y pipe, you know the one with the driverside flat-looking piece...I have a flowmaster muffler and would like to get a cut-out but where should I put it? I was thinking of the I pipe after the y ...but I don't know...or how about just putting it on the passenger side after the cat?...say midways?......please help...and also would having two cutouts be better than one or it depends on the setup?...
BTW: i have both high flow cats and not planning to remove them because of the freaking <img border="0" alt="[guns]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_guns.gif" /> emmissions in texas.....Thanks...

It would be very hard to get the cutout after the cats due to the flatened pipe. I have my cutout at the end of the I pipe right before it goes over the axle, allowing the exhaust to flow straight out. I also dropped about .2 off from my 1/4mi e.t. I beleive QTP has a dual cutout Y-pipe and you might be able to get it special order with manual cutouts instead of the electric. Good-Luck.

Charlie.
