TTS Headers and Cats In
So far, I really like them. I have not had any banging of the y-pipe and there is no droning either. It's not much louder (I like it that way) than before, but the tone seems to have changed some. I don't quite know how to explain it. Just seems to be more throaty sounding. Up until 3k rpms, it actually sounds the same as when I had just the B&B, but once it hits 3k, it has a nice muscular refined sound. Pulls noticeably harder on the highway, and from a stop, it spins the tires for much longer than it used to (that may be due to the cold pavement, but it still feels stronger).
On a lowered car, they will probably scrape somewhat easily, as they do hang pretty low. Although I've never seen SLP's, I've heard the TTS's don't hang quite as low as those. Today I gave it a test and slowly drove over an avg sized speed bump. As I was gritting my teeth hoping I wouldn't hear that dreaded scraping sound, suddenly I was over and past the bump, and with no scraping either!
SES light did go off though, but I will hopefully get that taken care of tomorrow when I dyno and get some tuning done. Hopefully I'll hit 290rwhp and finally be on par with some stock LS1's.
