Exhaust and Suspension question ... posting in both forums
SFC's are the first thing I'm doing to my SS... with low mileage, I intend on getting the problem fixed before it becomes a problem in the first place.
I want to do the UMI 3 Point SFC's ... Big fan of tying everything into the center, not to mention the extra strength for other components it will bear in the future. Being this is my first modification to the car, naturally, some doubts and questions arise.
With these SFC's on, exactly how hard is it going to be for me to do an exhaust swap in the future? Headers/Catted-Y/GMMG
I ask because I've not seen a whole lot of underside pictures of this SFC and I have a feeling that most had exhausts installed first then the SFC's ...
any advice?
The piece connecting the SFC's in this pic is only used with their chassis mount torque-arm, and won't be an issue unless you go that rout. As you can see, it will clear 99% of y-pipe setups even with it. Running true duals under a setup like this would be very hard however.
