Will the Computer Setting EGR Code Effect How the Engine Runs?
Will the Computer Setting EGR Code Effect How the Engine Runs? I will replacing the 2000 intake with the 2001 updated intake. It doesnt have the EGR provision so Im just gonna remove the EGR and block it off. Im assuming this will set a code and SES light.
I can live with that for now but will the engine run normally or will it go into some kind of limp home mode?

Re: Will the Computer Setting EGR Code Effect How the Engine Runs? Nope, it doesnt affect it at all to my best knowledge, I have had the EGR SES light on my car for about 2 months now and no problems.

im gonna install some mufflex off road pipes to get rid of the catsand not bother with the o2 simulators so the ses light is gonna be on anyway. As long as the car runs good thats all that matters.
