Wow! Where did you get them?

Did you have to "clearence" them around the steering shaft ?

They were 2 batches made. First prototype run (3 sets) were a thinner wall.

The second (1st production) run used a larger tubing.. and ran into fitment issues... hence why Whisper scrap'd the program.

I run a complete Whisper exhaust, Headers to tailpipe.

 

We have not turned the wheel yet but I guess we will find out an hour or so if it will work. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Sorry I havn't posted in a while I have been working on the car for the past few nights. Finally got everything going! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> But, the steering shaft does hit the header occasionally <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> . I got them from a guy in houston used. I can't remember his name but he was a good guy to do business with though.

I marked the area from the top and from the bottom. Then took the header out and "releaved" it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

 

I get the feeling there were less than a dozen or so made. I have a set.

MTI used the BFH mod on that one tube plus they used the grinder mod on the shaft itself. They rounded off the edges. Worked fine after that!
