mass air flow

just wondering, my buddy took the screen out of his maf on his 98 ss. its a stick, now if i removed mine(A4) on my 2002 z28 would it hurt anything and is it even worth it?

dont remove it, you wont gain anything and it acts as a filter, wait till you take that manifold off, you see how much slips by.

if the MAF screen is catching debris, then something is wrong with your air filter.

don't mess with the stock MAF. The gains, if any, aren't worth the potential problems.
