Verdad Gallardo Radio Shack. They're wired in such a way that the Green LED comes on when the fans are in Low Position (whether the fans are ON in Low due to computer turning on or manual ON), and the Red comes on with HI Position in the same manner.
Next question you're gonna ask is how they're wired - to be honest, don't remember - there was a write-up on how to do this either here or on LS1.com quite some time ago...
