Default Which Exhaust System?

I have a 2000 Z28 and am looking to get a catback system that sounds good but doesnt have the loud borla sound. I have found the hooker catback sounds good. What has anybody found with a stock car putting on a catback does any good? I would prefer anyones feedback about what they are running and what anybody prefers.

Thanks
Jason

I would say magnaflow or hooker. I have the magnaflow and it is slightly louder than stock, but much deeper. It is a very smooth sound.

Corsa is popular....It is quiet at idle and screams at WOT.....Also has what most people say are the best looking tips (I agree), also has a lifetime warranty for the original owner, and is also approved by GM for what thats worth.

As for gains, your not gonna see much from any catback.....Get some headers and you'll certainly need a catback or a cutout to let it breath.

my vote is for hooker, inexpensive, a little louder than stock at idle, and loud enough at WOT.

hooker catback tough to beat any day as for as sound, flow, and fit go. best catback you can buy for $270.

I have the loudmouth + Lt headers and its quiet.(since im deaf after driving it so much <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> )But i love it and im one of those pepole who can never get tired of it. I dunno i lik the borla alot and i think its a good buy. If you dont like it that loud, try mabe the b&b triflow, or the corsa. theyr pricey but they have a great clean sound . I agree with the magnaflow- if slp didnt have the loudmouth, thats what i woulda gotton. flowmaster is..ok. Have fun!

By far the best exhaust ive heard so far is the SLP TOTL. Not too loud, but a very quality sound. Really sounds good when you get on it. Ive had nothing but compliments since i put it on my car. I got it from DCV tech, they had the best price i found
