mass air flow sensor what does the stock mass air sensor look like? i don;t know what i have, i bought my car from a dealership and i am finding out little by little, what the guy did before i got it,,, the ford dealership said it was stock, bullshit...
heres what it looks like: its complelty smooth inside without the center bar on it, and it does not have a screen and it has two poles sticking up with little *** wires on it,, the outside, is silver,(the metal part) and the sensor is black(plastic) i have owned the car for about 2 years, so he put one on, it would be from three years ago, ,, oh, i have a 98 Camaro Z28

Re: mass air flow sensor if there's any metal part on it atall then you have a stock meter, sounds like he just pryed the screen out.

Re: mass air flow sensor the actual sensor is black plastic, and plastic inside of the sensor, then connected to that is the little wires, then on the outside of the sensor, on both sides of it, is the two halves, but they do not have a center bar in the middle, its completly smooth,,, so all i have is a ported MAF?
