looking towards a true dual set-up
Grott headers 1.75 primaries to 3 inch collectors. These Grotts was the 1st design with the slip fit collectors and I had slip fit Random Tech cats before, but no more. Mikey at Rapid motorsports made me some cat bypass pipes and flanged them along with the collectors, and flanged the bypass pipes to the y-pipe. Basically I have a FLP setup but using 3 bolt header flanges and Grott headers with a Grott <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> y-pipe.
I will be switching to a HD torque arm this winter and I want a lighter weight exhaust that won't pose a problem with the torq arm. I can have the true duals made no problem but my concern is noise level and ground clearance. I plan to lower the car about 1-1.5 inches, and I need a true duel set-up with low profile mufflers so I don't scrap. I plan to have the exhaust stop before the axle. Any ideas?
