Re: How to fix the FLP banging My headers were from the old coating company. FLP no longer has the problem. If you bought FLP's that were coated after June of 2001 there should be no problem with rusting. My headers began to rust with about 5K on them. My girlfriend had a newer set of FLP's on her 02 WS6. When she sold her car I traded her headers for mine. I am in the process of trying to ship mine back but am having a hell of a time getting in touch with John from the old coating company. The lady who answers the phone keeps saying he is busy yada yada yada. I am getting pretty annoyed at this point. I paid about $1500 total for my headers and can't seem to get FLP to back their product like I believe they should. <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />
Re: How to fix the FLP banging Just got off of the phone with John from Loco performance coating. He was great to deal with. He explained what the situation with the headers is and said ship them to him and he would return them promptly. I will let you guys know how they look when I get them back.
