A.I.R. Restrictor mod question

A.I.R. Restrictor mod question Hi, I'm new to this forum. I recently installed LT headers and the A.I.R restrictor plates.
I installed the new gaskets with the gasket on the header flange, but I just realized that the plate is not sandwiched between two gaskets. Only have one on the flange side.I didn't have the Internet directions when I installed the plates and I lost two of the gaskets somewhere in the engine bay. I tried to find them,but I gave up after one hour. The engine is like a black hole. Should I order more gaskets and install them all over again or let it go? The car runs fine and is quieter. What do you guys think?

Re: A.I.R. Restrictor mod question I'm surprised you don't have an exhaust leak. Just for peace of mind, I would buy new gaskets and do it right. Those same gaskets can be bought at any Chevy/Pontiac dealership. Just ask them for either an AIR or EGR gasket.

some the next time you have a chance.
Do the mod again..
