Re: solid motor mounts Oh another question about this. When you install them do you only have to just hoist the motor basically where it is if not a half an inch. Just wondering if you have to unbolt the engine from the tranny or anything else besides the engine mounts. Im hoping its an easy install.

Re: solid motor mounts you should be able to take care or it with 2 jack stands and a jack to lift the engine once its on the stands. shouldnt be tat hard, thats why i asked cause this looke one of thoes mods thats less tan 2 hours. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

Re: solid motor mounts Where would you put the jack to get the engine up cause of the oil pan under it. Or would you put it in the back were the trans bolts to the block. Does anyone have pictures of them installed because im all about the rattle they will put into the car.

They do not rattle the car that bad at all. With my Thunder 230/224 cam the Hot Rod quivers a little any way. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

Re: solid motor mounts I have been considering the solid mounts for awhile and am worried about cracking the block. The added vibration could definitely add stress to the motor and other components when dealing with alot of torque.
I don't think I'm ready to take the risk of replacing the block since I somehow cracked my stock one.
