Does anyone have a schematic for an autometer tach with shiftlite. I just bought a used one but it doesn't have directions. Also is the brown wire the one to cut for 4 cyc mode?

4 cyl. clip both the brown and orange wires.
white - dash lighting
red - Ignition switch
black - ground
green - Tach wire
for autometer tach models 3904, 3905, 3911, 4299, 4899, 5699, 5899

i just got an autometer tach and it says to clip one of the wires for 4 cylinder(2 pulse) and both for 4 cylinder(1 pulse) but my wires are blue and somthin else, there's no orange
