replacing stock muffler

replacing stock muffler I just bought a new 02 trans am. the stock exhaust is to quiet for me. i was thinking of just changing the muffler instead of spending big bucks on the gmmg catback. after i have the car awhile i will want to go with headers and an offroad system along with some engine mods. i just want a louder, deep rumble, clean sound to carry me over. any suggestions?

Re: replacing stock muffler I would say the Magnaflow would suit your needs, especially since you said you wanted a clean sound and deep. It is very deep, I just put the muffler on and it was only slightly louder than stock (except under hard acceleration), but it has recently gotten a little louder which is good, I like that there is no drone or rasp when on the interstate. I guess it will come down to how much louder you want to go.
