LS1 intake to LS6 intake

LS1 intake to LS6 intake Hey guys I desperately need help!!!! Me and a buddy just swapped the stock intake on my 99 TA 6spd....to an LS6....the only difference that we noted was no egr and the cooling lines under the intake....we modded the cooling lines....and didn't hook up the egr. That pretty much explains what we did.....now heres my problem....the car won't idle under 3000 rpms...I am getting no SES light or anything!!! Does anybody have a clue what it could be. We thought it could be the IAC...so we swapped TB's...it worked for a few seconds the vrrmmm back up to 3000.....and it doesn't go away if you are in drive.......it acts like a never ending cruise control.....well any help I would definately appreciate thanks alot in advance.

Re: LS1 intake to LS6 intake Is the intake completely seated? Are the vacuum hoses attached in the back? Did you remove the stock coolant line under the intake? High idle rpms usually indicate a leak.

Re: LS1 intake to LS6 intake I'm 99.9 percent sure that we hooked all of the hoseds back up correctly and torqued everything down properly but it wouldn't hurt to check it again. I will let you guys know how it works out.
