Coolant Type - What to use

Coolant Type - What to use I'm going to change the coolant and flush the system tommorow, had a bad run in with a crapped out radiator cap and thought this would be a good time to clear it up.
I drain the rad, flush it with water then put in the new stuff.
Do I put in X number of anti-freeze, then after that top it with water?
Just trying to get the mix right, wondering how many gallons of anti-freeze to get the right mix before adding water.
I'll be picked this up at a local autoparts store, anything particular to use over another? Never had any overheating issues and as far as I know it has no special coolant in it for heat issues.

Stick w/ the orange stuff if it's in the car now. Dex-cool. Dex-cool and the standard green stuff don't mix. Unless you completely flush the system of ALL coolant, block, heads, rad, hoses, turbos, etc going to green is a bad idea.
50/50 mix is you best bet for the winter.
This for the Z or the Miata?? not sure on the system capacity, but i put 3.5 gallons in mine. Then again i've got a double core rad.

So now I just need the capacity of the Rad and go 50/50.
