Re: Difference between 98-99 and 00+ Throttle Bodies The throttle cable spring on the TB is different between those years.Its the part where the cable goes around that half moon piece on the TB.Its either smaller on the 98-99 or bigger, i can't remember which.

They are rarer in recycling yards, etc than the '98-'99's so they command the higher price.
If you are finding the "large cam" TB's @ $60 less than "small cam" ones, I'm sure Bret @ Bauer Racing would be interested.

I want to keep my stock 98 TB. I want to get a core to be ported. The 00+ is less expensive, I would get a new 00+ TB ported and use it on my 98.
Will this work?
