Hooker LT's and Y-Pipe ??
Guys i recieved my Hooker LT's from Jet Hot and now i am waiting on my Y-pipe from ThunderRacing and i have a few questions. This Y-pipe is a slip fit right?? If it is a slip fit what clamps are the best fitting?? Thunder was out of there band clamps so i couldnt order them when i orderded the Y. What other sponser has band clamps i could purchase? One more question. Has anyone heard the Hookers w/ no cats thru a Flowmaster catback and how does it sound? Thanks guys.

Yep, it's slip fit. I got the 3.5" clamps from prostreetonline.com

They're SS so they won't rust, and they don't crush the pipes. I found sometimes the clamps that come with the headers crush the pipes as they're not very wide.
Good luck.
The flowmaster will be very loud without cats to kill some of the noise.
My Hookers were of poor quality.
Check and make sure or you'll be
Flanges are flat
Primaries aren't full of welding slag
O2 can actually be screwed in and sensor will be in exhaut stream
The joins are actually welded. Mine weren't 1/4 inch missed. BIG LEAK.
My Hookers from Jet Hot had all of the above issues, so check you stuff very carefully or get someone that knows headers to check to avoid problems.
The paper gaskets are crap, be sure and get a set of real gaskets.
Once Hookers sorry quailty was fixed and all the problems corrected the are nice. They tuck up nice and tight. They & Y pipe cleared my bulky SLP bolt in subframes with ease.
Good Luck because you'll need if your Hookers have 1/2 the problems mine did.
