Re: Quick question > What are TR-55s gapped at? the plugs in my car where the ones from the factory,until today, and they were gapped all over the place. only 2 out of the 7 i changed had the platinum discs still on them. 1 was gapped at about .57. 4 were about .65, 2 at .7 and 1 was at .72.

I think the TR-6s are just too cold a plug for a car not using forced induction or nitrous like mine.

Re: Quick question > What are TR-55s gapped at? I remember reading this once, " NGK-TR55 is the plug you should use with simple bolton cars. Generally, for every 50 hp that you add you need to decrease the gap by .004. If you add 150 hp over stock you should decrease the gap .012. So .060 is the stock gapping...and you decrease the gap from there depending on how much hp you have added. ".
