Modified Z06 intake
Modified Z06 intake Thinking of trying the TPIS modified Z06 intake and LS2 TB. Has anyone tried this or seen any #s besides the ones in the mag articles posted on TPIS's website?

I really like the look of the TPIS 90mm LS6 manifold and the 90mm TB's (round and oval) however if you only have a LS1 intake I personally think they are expensive as there's a 'core' charge also. So if you have a LS1 intake it'll cost you similar to the price of a FAST 90/90. If you already have a LS6 intake then it's quite a viable option and IMO should perform well, although a ported FAST 90/90 setup is probably still better but then again under this circumstance it would cost more also.
I have a Z06 intake, so it should only cost around 350 plus shipping for the intake. I like the TPIS TB, but I have a line on one of the LS2 TBs for less than 1/2 the cost of one of their billet pieces.
I have a relatively small cam (224) and am only turning 6600, so the really impressive #s the fast are turning at 7000 don't really apply.
They picked up about 12-14hp over the stock Z06 in the mag test
