PRO 5.0 shifter FIRST mod $179
Ported TB is a good idea for $125
SLP mass air will compliment heads and cam$150
NGK plugs and MSD wires $80
Don`t bother w/MAF trans. if you are going to custom tune.
I would select a cam based on the heads you select. Or for spray if you go that route.

A shifter would be great. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I have the factory Hurst w/Lou's shortstick... so I am happy with that for now. What about these NGK plugs and MSD wires. What kind of performance gains if any should I expect?

You can try a ASP pulley, it will cost you around $200 and its a fairly easy install. Most people see .1,.2 improvements on a 1/4 track (approximitly 8-10hp).

All of the suggestions are good ones. For a HP mod, I think an ASP underdrive crankshaft pulley would be a great next mod. They're consistently worth around .1 in the 1/4-mile. I didn't show more than a few HP on the dyno with the pulley on my '98 T/A or '02 SS, but part of the advantage is the engine's ability to spin up quicker.

Let me know if I can help!

Trevor

I have a 01' SS M6. I already have Hooker LT and their ORP (both Jet Hot coated), Loudmouth, and a Direct Flo lid w/K&N. I am putting a cam in within the next few months (probably TR224 112)....unless there is something that you guys reccomend over it... possibly for heads and spray. But anyways, what do you guys think I should do. I have no free mods done. I am looking for horsepower mods, not so much suspension right now. Should I do a new Mass Air w/translator, or do some MAF ends. How about a throttle body. I am looking for something that will complement what I have and what I am going to get... I want to make around 400+ hp on motor.

Let me know what you guys think>

Thanks

p.s. Tuning will be done too.
