Default IAC Question

I have a '01 engine with '98 intake and throttle body in my '93 Mazda RX-7. GM Parts Department is telling that IAC's are VIN specific... I do not have a VIN available, what part number do I need to use? Is there much difference between the 5 IAC part numbers or just minor calibration differences?

Thanks for your help!

Parts guys are killing me with this VIN stuff. I chuckle every time they ask.

Did some research on this a little while back. Go with the IAT for a 2002 car. It's "should" supercede all the others.

I'd suggest calling SDPC >>-->
