is the catback worth it ?

i have a 01 ws.6 m6. with only a lid,mass air,cooler t-stat and free mods my car went 12.92 to 13.05 all day. then.......i went with the b&b try flo catback and all i could get was 13.15 to 13.20.has this happened to anyone else?? now i have heads and cam and was thinking of going back to the stock catback. what do you guys think,will i gain back the 2tenths i lost??? thanks everyone, mike c.

The b&b flows pretty damn good. Now that you have heads and cam it will outflow your ws6 exh.

mmmm tht sounds unusual. The B&B exhaust is very well made and they have dyno graphs on their website to prove it. You shoould have at the least anothr 10 rwhp from the B&B. I thnk you should keep it on. (but hey check it out and call B&B about it since there might be a flaw in your cat-back)

if you have heads and cam now... get headers.
You will see HUGE gains from Longtubes. Ive seen as much as 44 rwhp on a h/c car. The LS6 intake will help more than on a stock LS1 as well.

dude,i have flp headers.(traded in my macs)i have all the boltons W/heads and cam. back then i was stock,and on the dyno the b&B only gave 3rw hp over my stock catback.now i'm a 11.71 car.i was tossing around the idea of going back to the stock cat back since i lost 2.25 tenths with the b&b.i called the company and well.....you know how they can be. thanks.

SSpeeed-he has an 01 which already has an ls6 intake on it.

i say try to go back to stock, if it doesnt work u can but the b&b back on.

How about just running it through a cut-out? That way you could leave whatever cat-back sounds/looks the best. Take it off at the track if feasible...
