SLP Lid fitment?
SLP Lid fitment? I just got a new WS9 hood from US Exotics and my SLP lid prevents the hood from closing correctly. I had to put my stock airbox back on(which sucks). I searched out a couple posts about people with SLP lids rubbing there hoods. Does anyone know of an aftermarket lid that may not be as tall as SLP and rub the hood.

Yeah. I have had the lid for a long time. It is just that with this hood it hits it. I was reading a bit more and discovered that maybe the Holley filter Im using has a thicker gasket which can raise the lid.
I was also looking at the whisper lid and it doesnt seem as high as the SLP one.

My buddy from a while back had an SLP lid that rubbed the same way...my Direct Flo lid did the same though. My 85mm TSP lid doesn't rub now, but it did before I modified it to its current configuration.
