Ls6 Engine Swap into 98 Camaro
Ls6 Engine Swap into 98 Camaro I recently purchased a LS6 Enigine kit from scoggin dickey for my 98 camaro. Im going to get the LS6 intake next. Does the engine need the steam vent tubes or do i get the coolant pipe and plug kit. Also there is a small tube in the front of the valley cover(where does this connect to ?)
Also, does the dealership sell factory manuals this would be a big help.

The tube in the gally cover is the ls6 style pvc system. You can get a gm manual at the dealer but get your check book out. Not sure what you mean on the steam vent. When I put my ls6 intake on I just used the two plugs for the rear in the heads and a front crossover tube.

I got my intake from SLP, the only thing I'll ever buy from them, but it had all the gaskets, sensors, tubing, and block offs for a lil over $400, worth it to me, especially since it was new.
