Default what tensioner?

I plan on putting an underdrive pulley on my SS soon, and was wondering if it was okay to stick with the stock tensioner? I am not doing a cam swap anytime soon so it will only rev to the stock limit of 6100. I have heard that ud pulleys throw belts occasionally, so the slp pulley is at the top of my list since it has the taller side walls. Any input is appreciated.

The new Katech tensioner is the sweetest one I've ever seen. Don't bother getting one untill you have belt throwing problems though. I run an ASP, spin 6800 on the stock tensioner, and have no problems.

Don't change it unless you're getting noise. When it starts sounding like you've got a twin screw under there then you know it's time to get a new one.
