Y pipe question?????????????????????
Y pipe question????????????????????? I'm going to install my Hooker LT later this month and I need a Y pipe. I know that Jet Hot has theirs for 210 shipped is this the best option or should I just have my local shop make an uncoated one for $100? Maybe you have another suggestion for me! Re: Y pipe question????????????????????? IMO you can't see the y-pipe when you pop the hood so you shouldn't have to worry about coating it. Plus, it doesn't erode like uncoated headers because it doesn't get as hot their. Again, in my opinion it is not worth it, but definitely get coated headers. Uncoated looks flat out nasty and they will peel and crack after awhile.
