Crazy Idling

Crazy Idling I havent drove my 98 trans am in about a week and i go to start it today and the battery was dead. I of course gave it a jump and when it first fired up it started idling at about 3500 rmp's. I tapped the gas to see if it would go down and it just stayed there. I popped the hood to see if the throttle linkage was stuck and it wasnt. I shut the car off and turned it back on and it would idle like a funny car. It would start idling at 3000rpm dip down to 1000 and then back up to 3000. Anyone have any idea what this could be??
