Questions on installing Walbro intank fuel pump?
Yes you will have to do a little modification. I used cut up heater hose and tie straps to attach the new pump.
Be careful not to mess up the float position.
The toughest part of my install was getting the filter on the pump. I had a hell of a time for some reason.
Thanks alot, so about how long did it take to install? I have a lift to put the car on so it should save a lil time. And I have already cut my catback so I can get to it easier. Where on your website is there pictures or more info in the fuel pump install? And theres a autp supply store right next to my friends shop so whats the size on the heater hose? <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

My actual install of the pump took less than an hour. The cutting took at least another hour. I went very slowly. You do need to be careful not to cut into the gas tank. There is very little space between the deck panel and the tank. But once you have cut this access panel it will be a piece of cake to change pumps in the future.
Someone else will have to jump in with help on dropping the tank.
Good Luck,
