New intake lid on !!

New intake lid on !! My LS1 motorsports lid finaly came in today. It was pretty easy to get on I just had one problem. When I was putting the rubber hose back on the throttle-body I didnt get it pushed all the way on. This pushed the lid foward to much and I couldnt get it to latch down right. But once I figured that out the lid snapped right on and seemed to fit fine. I havent driven it that much since I put the lid on tongiht , I'll test it out tomorrow. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

Re: New intake lid on !! You will love the pro 5.0 its a nice feeling shifter. Get a light and set it behind your lid and look through your lid to see if there is and light where it slides onto the TB.

Re: New intake lid on !! I had the same problem when putting on my new lid from LS1, they fit very tight and need to be worked a bit to get latched.
Great results once on though, I am pleased with the performance and would suggest to anyone.

Re: New intake lid on !! I had a couple little signs of light coming through so I just put a few layers of duct(duck) tape on there went from inside the neck to where the clamp is and you can't even see it. If you do this the tape can't get sucked into the engine. Good luck.
