Y-pipe
Y-pipe I have hooker shorty header on my 98SS M6, what would be a good Y-pipe to add, I have a B+B cat-back?? <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" />

Re: Y-pipe If you want to add a better then stock Y-pipe to a set of shorty headers, I would recommend the SLP Y-pipe. I used to have that before I put on my current headers. It was a nice piece.

I have SLP's Bilstein suspension which is about 1-1/2" drop. With the custom 3" y-pipe I have had no problems with clearence.
I also know a guy with the FLP's and he has a 2" drop. He also has had no problems with clearence.
Just take it slow over speed bumps, and go slow at an angle on steep hills, drivways, etc...
You'll prolly scrape once or twice, and then you'll know how steep of hills you can take on.
