Default How should I connect my X pipe to my headers?

Okay, I have hooker long tubes (coated) and the Dr. gas X pipe (3" into X, 2.5" out) I was wondering what the best way to connect the two would be. I still have to figure out how to line up the driver side header with the pipe to the X. So I gotta take that into accout when figuring out hpw to connect it all. Any pictures would be great. The only ones I can find ar usually of the rear, and I can't see the headers and all too well.
Thanks!

I alway's mount my x under the tailshaft of the transmission. You have to put more pipe from the x to the 45 on one side to offset it for the header.I hope I explained it good enough.

Justin isnt a sponsor and he doesnt do anything with the DR Gas X pipe. He makes his own and the 45 degree pipes off of it. You have to get the mufflers and a little more straight piece of pipe and someone to put it up for you.

So basically I'll I'll just need to order say like a 3" U bend to use to connect the X on the driver side? Also, by what means should I actually connect the header and the pipe? The pipe came with flanges but the header didn't. They're both exactly 3" so one won't fit over the other. It was suggested to use a band clamp but I don't think that'd hold up to well. Should I just figure away to get flanges welded onto the headers? They're already coated so I'd probably have to have some place do that. (We're doing te rest).

The band clamp is the best way to go.They are about $8.00 plus they are stainless and won't rust.

Ok thanks justin and everyone else, I know i've plagued this place with stupid questions regarding this. Now that I think about it I could get my local exhaust shop to expand the 3" pipe just a bit to slip over the collector, making it a better seal for a band clamp. I dunno. Im about to order my mufflers and the U-bend so hopefully I can get all this done.....hopefully. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
