6.0 truck intake question?

6.0 truck intake question? Ok heres the question. If we can fit 6.0 heads on our cars, and the LS6 intake seems to be about the only option for us, can teh 6.0 liter intake fit our cars or the 8L bastard? This is for a C5 not a F Body so the hood is really the only problem. Has anyoine tried to do this yet on a 5.7L block. These are the mods I am going with right now. I am just curious if it "could" work. What are your thoughts? Am I smoking crack <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> ? <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" /> Or is the 6.0 intake the same as a LS6?

Re: 6.0 truck intake question? i think that pro stock john is right that it will not fit under the hood unless you what to get a cowl or something but i have seen some 6.0L with flybywire TBs usually on utilities with TC. i think that your TB will bolt up anyways. also the intake is nothing like a LS6, its alot bigger and has its own fuel rail that curves over it to clear the top of it. i would like to know if anyones ever flowed one and compaired it to an LS6.

Re: 6.0 truck intake question? I not worried about the TB I will make that work, especially if it bolts up ya know. A cowl hood would be in order of course, cause if it works ya know, maybe I need to do it and then do some dyno tests. Anyone have a 6.0 intake I can try?
