Question about Granatelli MAF
Question about Granatelli MAF For xmas I got a Lid, holley powershot filter, and a granatelli MAF. It came in a package and was supposed to come with the SLP MAF but LS1 motorsports had run out. Right now my TA is all stock and I'm wondering if I should install the MAF right away or wait till I get headers. I know there are mixed thoughts on this MAF. Some say it does nothing, others say it helped, then others say they now here pinging since they've installed it. Anyone hace any advice? I know this thread has been done to death but, I had to ask.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

Re: Question about Granatelli MAF Just install it and see what you think. If it feels better and doesn't ping, keep it. No one can tell you how it's going to work on your car.
BTW, I run a GMS on my '02 and like it. I think it was worth about a half MPH in the 1/4 over my stocker.

Re: Question about Granatelli MAF I got one of the first ones JR made right afer he got it CARB certified. This was in late 1998 and it's been working flawlessly ever since. Now it's flowing with my new 427 superstroker and still without a hitch. JR makes a great product.
