Default Cut Outs

Is it okay to get a cut out for my 99 t/a (all stock except for a lid) for right now due to money reasons from x-mas and all and wait to get Borla or something like it later??? I heard it is okay to put it on my car and it won't hurt it is that true?!?!? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> If I do put a cut out on which size:
Flowtech 2.5"
Flowtech 3"
Flowtech 3.5"

Thanks for your help -- Ashley

Its worth it, get one of the electronic ones. Then get a quieter muffler around ther area of Corsa, or you can get the adjustable Borla, and then put and electric cutout valve in the plave of the plates. Its your call. Check out my web page, it has different sound clips on how stuff sounds with differnt stuff. It should be something there to help you out I think.

The answer to the question... you should use a 3" Cutout.

Like the others, I recommend the QTP electric cutout. It allows a choice between LOUD or stock sound at a flip of the switch.

I believe for the Borla system you don't need to use a flowtech cutout, the powerplate just replaces the 3 plates you got with the Borla system and you could adjust it anyway you want from inside the car.

Yes the electric switch is worth the extra money
