Default which spark plugs?

hey guys i was wondering which spark plugs i should go with in my 98 z, and which wires i should go with. and where i can get them at?

ngk tr55's are the plugs most people go with ls1's seem to like them better than the other plugs. they come pre-gapped at .55 which is what i'm running right now and thats what most people recomend as far as gap goes.

as for plug wires they are all pretty much the same most have 40-50 ohms resistance. i went with the taylor 409 wires because they were available in blue. msd,holley, mangnacore,and taylor are all about equal resistance wise its a matter of preference .

The TR55's are a good choice for a near stock car. You won't do any harm changing out the plug wires, but unless there's something wrong with your stock ones, there is nothing performance wise to gain.

FWIW, GM sells red stock-replacement wires (available through GMPP dealers)...

no real performance gain from the plugs and wires being changed. the car warms up quicker and i've been getting better gas mileage but thats the only real difference. my car did have 50,000 miles on the original plugs and wires so i improved more than someone with a newer car and less mileage.
