for guys that did all the "mac mods" the exhaust shop i went to wants to see the headers on the car before they cut the ball flanges and collector off and weld the new reducers and FM collector in. does this seem right? i thought it would be easier to do it off the car. they also want to weld the cats in with the Y-pipe installed. please advise. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> TIA

Why not sell the MAC's and go with something new? You can get a few hundred out of them.. and not end up with a "bastard" setup.

Re: for guys that did all the "mac mods" i mean to me the cost for the work seems reasonable, i would suggest going to some other shops and getting quotes as well if you think the price is high, also it wouild probly be easier if the headers were on the car so they can see how things are suspost to line up.
