The tube is held on by one bolt - 15 MM if I remember correctly. Remove bolt and pull straight up.

Yeah getting it back in is a pain, makes it a lot easier if you have another person under the car guiding it in.

Put a little grease around it when you're sticking it back in, it'll go alot easier.

Just don't do like me and set the oil dipstick on your dad's trunk, then drive off, forgetting about it. That one cost me thirty bucks.

I would have rather done that than break it off in the block like I did! It cost me 3 days of work/cursing/worrying AND I had to shell out $30!

the best way to get it back in is guide it into the hole then get something large and flat like a piece of metal, hopefully with some wieght place it flush on top of the oil dipstick and then gently tap it down went right in for me

If you stand in just the right spot beside the passenger side fender with a flashlight, you can look down through the A/C lines and BS and actually SEE the hole it goes in. I've taken mine out and put it back in a buncha times and also done my friends car.

I've had to look from underneath a couple of times to gauge where it was. Now if they put a little hair around the hole...

I always say "If they put some hair around the hole, then shave it off......."
