Default Anyone running a sheetmetal intake?

Just wondering if you have one and if it's working for you.

Also wondering if you are still running an LS1 TB or elected to run something else like an Accel TB.

I've seen the BBK 80mm used port matched to the intake. Not too sure about the Accel though.

John,

I have a Carbon/Fiberglass Epoxy intake designed to help the 4000-7000rpm range alot. If a custom intake is done right it will work awesome.

Bret,

Would such an intake help a stock displacement 346 much? I would guess something like that would be more appropriate for stroker/big bore motors.

Well,

The cool thing about the design is that I can customize the intake for the RPM range and displacement of any engine. It is still in development and I don't have a availability time of it yet.

Futral Motorsports has a sheet metal intake that is currently in testing. It was tested on Allan's 346ci LS6 head/solid roller setup and picked up ~20+rwhp from 5700-7600 and suffered slight losses in the 4k range. It actually picked up some hp/tq around 3k. He is using the factory TB on it at this time. Final #s were 475rwhp/389rwtq!
