Pacesetter install question.

I will be finishing tommorow.

I am reading this mod guide. http://www.geocities.com/foff667/98Camaropg4.html

Is it really necessary to remove the oil dipstick?

I was looking at mine and didn't really see where I had to remove it.

If you don't remove it, how do you expect to get the manifold out, without breaking the dipstick tube? FWIW, detach the 15mm bolt, and tug.

Hmm. I must have been look past something. Thanks though. Will I need to plug the hole? Or will oil just from draining out?

Nope, the bolt hole is dry and the dipstick hole is on top so it won't leak, just don't start it without the stick in or you will get a bit of a mess.
