I have the perimeter valve covers and I have the Dart 205's which are center bolt. So, I found some center bolt valve covers off an 2000 5.3. I was told they will work, is this correct?

Also, I need some coil brackets now and I called the dealer and they told me the LS6 ones are 28 each and the 5.3's are 70 a piece. So, will the LS6 ones work on the 5.3 valve cover?

Well if you think about it the block and the heads are essentially the same size. The CC is different and a few other minor things. Not sure what to tell you about the price on the coil brackets....they might be different.

Well, I have an 04 Z71 witch is the 5.3l. I do see that some of the holes on the valve covers are not being used. Wonder if the valve cover is a "universal" type?
