Default TB blade: hole too big??

I just got a ported TB and i noticed that my car's idle flucuates(spelling) for a couple of seconds, but is fine afterwards. I emailed the guy and was positive it was the hole in the TB blade. Its bigger than normal b/c its for an heads/cam LS1. does this make sense to you guys?? If I was planning on getting a cam soon will it be ok?

If your gonna do it soon then I wouldnt sweat it. If not, just take the blade out and have someone TIG the hole and redrill it back to stock.

I have a fairly large hole in my ported tb, but i did swap the blade and had to re-drill it. I thought it was gonna die prior to it though.

Yeah, you want a lil' bit bigger hole in it for idle quality reasons for cams.
