What do I tell them?
all u can do is say, u dont know what happened, but there gonna examine the car...if they find that u hit something or u were jackin around there gonna drop u....ur gonna have to play hard ball with them...dont tell them u hit something bc then they will ask u why u didnt try to miss it...
FWIW silence is golden, don't tell them anything, other than the car is driving funny
As an aside how the hell does a stock car twist a driveshaft, I have mine at redline at least once a week (1 thru 4), and I've never twisted the driveshaft, wtf kind of crazy assed power you got

I dunno. Any Fbody should be able to take a 1st to second shift at 4k. Hell, the redline is 5700 so you should be able to shift anywhere up to 5700 and the warranty should cover it. You don't have to be racing to shift at a high rpm. Accelerate slowly to 5700 in first and you'll be doing like 25. Bucking like a bitch but you can do it and the drivetrain should be able to take it. That is why they call it a "redline". Go over that and you're on your own
