Resonators to rid ORP rasp sound?

Resonators to rid ORP rasp sound? I recall someone saying they were going to try some type of resonators in the spot where the cats sit to get rid of the farty RASP sound <img border="0" alt="[barf]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_barf.gif" /> that is there around the 2200 to 2700 RPM's range when you run ORP's with no cats.
Has anyone done something to rid themselves of this raspy/farty sound? Does the aforementioned technique work, and what resonator did you use, if it did?

Re: Resonators to rid ORP rasp sound? I am very happy with the way mne sounds. I replaced the resonator with a bullet, and I added a Flowmaster Delta Force race muffler ( Jegs Part Number 389-325108 - http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...10&prmenbr=361 ) on each side of the y-pipe where the CATs normally fit.
Has a nice rumble, but no more rasp <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I got the 18" part # 24219 Dynomax, put it in the I-Pipe and bye-bye raspy sound. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> That sucker is one big glass-pack... the inside seemed to have a larger diameter than the pipe itself; should be no restriction. Great!
