Trying to get a list of gaskets I need for my engine build up. Can I reuse the gaskets on the coolant pipes(plugs) under my manifold? I've reused them before but the service manual says to replace them. It also says to replace the lifters if you change the cam too though.
i would use new ones... its a PITA to get a leak there then have to take the intake off again
but you dont need to change the lifters... you would have to pull the heads for that if you are just looking at a cam install.
My friends run .581 lifts and they sill have stock lifters. I run .561 lift with my cam and still have stockers

I'm on my third cam, third set of heads, second set of headers, second block. My original coolant pipe gaskets are still working just fine. I'm also still using the original exhaust manifold gaskets <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
