Default MAF Ends

Are plastic or aluminum MAF ends better. I am installing them with a Direct flow airlid. The idea of the hard plastic from the airlid clamping on the plastic MAF end made me wonder. Thanks!

Supposedly the plastic ones are better cause they stay cooler as your engine heats up. Therefore the air that passes through them stays cooler as it goes into your engine.

I don't think it makes any difference...air that is being sucked in goes through so fast that....its not a significant amount of time for the air to be cooler or hotter!!....it just depends on which one you want...but I doubt there is a difference though!!!
