I ordered a Granatelli MAF today. Are these any good??????

I've had one for well over a year now and really like mine. I picked up ~8RWHP and maintained a perfect 13:1 Air/Fuel Ratio on the wideband. Quality product.

BigBlackZ28,
Tranny line pressure has nothing to do with the MAF. The line pressure should be set to follow the throttle position sensor.
however in an a4 they can bump transmission line pressure because under load which usually means much increased throttle position, the maf flow rate is calibrated to adjust accordingly with the throttle position. thus if flowing more air through the larger diameter then pressure will rise unless tuned for the added flow in which case its just another bolt on for yet another bolt on buck.
your line pressure will drop with a ported or uncalibrated 85mm meter. if it went up, that would be no problem.

since the granatelli units are calibrated, we have nothing to worry about right?
