Question Knock Sensor Ohm check

I'm working on another GM vehicle with Vortec 4300.

Regarding a PCM error in the knock sensor circuit; svc. manual says for testing the 2 knock sensors:

"Resistance should be 8200KΩ
Resistance range spec - if Knock sensor measures less than 2100Ω or open circuit replace sensor"

I have my DVOM set to 2000k scale and get readings of 9 and 18 from each sensor.

Am I using the right scale?
